PAL Adhesives are pleased to announce that they have been successful in acquiring the hot melt coating equipment from Coating and Converting Solutions , CCS .

When CCS went into voluntary administration in July, PAL along with RA Wood and Tape Technology placed bids for the company and the coating equipment. Although PAL were not successful in buying the company they were able to secure half of the machinery which amongst others comprised of :-

• A Hotmelt Coater built by Elite Cameron with slot die head and facilities to direct coat PE foam tapes
• A 300mm wide hot melt pattern coater for manufacturing toffee tape and stripe coating ,
• Two Cevenini log cutters
• A slitter rewind machine
• Two finger lift machines to enable us to expand our range of tissue fingerlift & filmic double sided fingerlift tapes .
• A core cutter

PAL plan to install the equipment alongside their extrusion company which will enable PAL to offer a more diverse product range and enhanced custom coating capabilities to their new and existing customers .
